Tracy Flick, Cher Horowitz and Duckie respond to Tom Brokaw's criticism of White House Correspondents' prom.

Tracy Flick:  "Tom doesn't like the White House Correspondents' prom because what it needs is a good prom queen and king.  And I promise to pray to Lord Jesus to make sure something happens to Mika Brzenski and Brian Williams, so that next year Tom and I will be elected.  Pick Flick!"

Cher Horowitz:  "It's all about spreading your celebrities.  Like this year's prom planners, they totally had the right amount of celebrities, but if you put Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan at the same table, you are, like, totally not spreading.  Also, it would help to have a few more Betties."

Duckie:  "Despite my appearance at this year's White House Correspondents' dinner, I am and always will be a Duck Man."

Greta Van Susteren:  "Hey Mr. Liberal Lamestream Media, don't think you're going to go all Carrie on us."

Actually, no kidding, this is how Van Susteren (who really did invite Kardashian and Lohan) in fact replied:

"I am game to give Tom Brokaw's idea a try next year--no more celebrities for our one big social night in Washington (WHCD)--but here is my request in exchange, how do we get our colleagues in the media's attention to such issues as genocide in Sudan?  does he have ideas?  and could he help?"

And all I can say is, like, I'm totally psyched that Lilo and Kim K. were there!  Cause, like, all those reporters in the media, they couldn't, like, report on those issues without celebrities to help!  Duh, Tom Brokaw!
