Falsies are back!

I'm talking about eyelashes, of course.  Although as this article in New York Time's Style section notes, "Eyelashes are the new breasts," must-have (but much cheaper) accessories for an "instant lift." http://tinyurl.com/7ao3shd  Apparently, D.W. Griffith, heretofore known to me only as the director of Birth of a Nation and Intolerance, was also the inventor of the false eyelash, putting a wigmaker to the task of making Seena Owen's lashes long enough to brush her cheek as Intolerance's Babylonian princess.  For those who want the real deal, the relatively new prescription lash lengthener, developed from a glaucoma drug, works so well users may have to actually trim their lashes.  Bat 'er up, girls (and boys)!
