Booby trapped.

BAN THE BOTTLE!
That's the cry from the battlements these days.  This week, there have been several articles in the NYTimes about limiting the free distribution of infant formula samples to new mothers in New York city hospitals.  (http://tinyurl.com/d3qz8dl and http://tinyurl.com/bpzagj3 )  Apparently, handing out a few packets of free formula to a new mother is tantamount to giving crack cocaine to a recovering addict.  It "undermines" her "best intentions."

And then there's this photo on the stands right now, which no doubt Tina Brown is kicking herself for not running first:

And in related news, affluent lactivists and physicians have banded together to form a non-profit nursing centers corporation to make breast milk available on every street corner, to every child in the nation.  The new nursing centers will be manned--er, womanned-- by pumping lactivists and the milk will be available through the WIC program for those who qualify.  "It's a perfect arrangement," one lactivist said.  "We lactivists want to breastfeed forever, and this way we can.  It's also kind of nice that we no longer have to pretend that every single woman in the nation regardless of her physical and economic circumstances can and must breastfeed."  Breast milk will now be available wherever you see this sign:

Psych.  Still, might we have just a little more MYOB?
