It's about !@#$# time the Supremes weighed in on teevee decency.


 FCC Golden Boy:
He's never cheeky.
Justice Elena Kagan offered a summary of the state of the federal regulation in this area.  "The way this policy seems to work," she said, "it's like nobody can use dirty words or nudity except Steven Spielberg."*


* Just to recap, as it currently stands, the FCC says cursing by white soldiers in Saving Private Ryan is fine; by black blues artists in Martin Scocese PBS blues documentary bad.  Nudity good in Schlinder's List, bad in bare backsides of NYPD Blue.
