Taymor:
Cast adrift?

Reputations threaten to unravel, sez the New York Times, as Julie Taymor's suit moves forward against the producers of the Broadway musical Spider-Man:  Turn off the Dark.  The creative force behind the show's inception, Taymor was fired last year before the show opened. 

Bono:
The white knight
who armed himself
with supermodels.
According to the article, a "trove" of emails could put "famous 'Spider-Man' collaborators, Bono and the Edge of U2, on notice that they could face more potentially embarrassing revelations if her case goes to trial."  Among those revelations:  "that in January 2011, soon after 'Spider-Man' actors were injured because of technical problems and when the musical was a laughingstock on late-night television, he (Bono) showed up at a creative meeting with supermodels in tow, too drunk on beer to contribute usefully."
