"Honey, can you stop by the cleaners and pick up my gray flannel suit? The one that had the blood stains all over it."

On this day in 1876, reporter Marcus Kellogg filed one of his last dispatches for the Bismark Tribune before he and the army he was following collided with history at the spot known as Little Big Horn.  Kellogg was killed in the battle.

In the global media world, "soul killing" can take on a whole new meaning.
As of today, 13 journalists have been killed since November reporting from Syria, along with thousands of Syrians, men, women and children.  In the meantime, Barbara Walters got her "get" with Assad in which she could question him "aggressively," the daughter of Assad's ambassador got her admission to Columbia, and Western PR firms got to spend the proceeds of their contracts with the Assad regime.  Bill Carter and Amy Chozick follow the money and the influence.  http://tinyurl.com/76yropk
